Arial Typography


The Arial font is a sans serif typeface designed by Robin Nicholas and Patricia Saunders for Monotype Foundry, as a counterpoint to the famous Helvetica.

Microsoft was reluctant to include in the Windows mosafa and expensive Swiss typography, so he bought the rights of Monotype Arial. It has become one of the most popular typefaces and that is included in the Windows operating system. The design of Arial is a variation of Monotype Grotesque series, which was created primarily for computers.
